Day 1

  • Fly to Gilgit Airport from Benazir International Airport, Islamabad
  • Pick up from airport by guide and/or driver
  • Departure for Hunza (2hrs)
  • Rest at Rakaposhi view point
  • Visit to and presentation inside Baltit Fort (more than 900 years old) in Karimabad
  • Check-in at hotel (Early lunch)
  • Trip to and presentation inside Altit Fort (more than 700 years old)
  • Rest at Altit village and gardens
  • Drive to highest view point (Duikar) in Hunza-Nagar (witness sunset on white peaks)
  • Visit to Eagle’s nest
  • Night stay in Karimabad, Hunza

Day 2

  • Departure for Pak-China Border (Khunjerab Pass – highest road border in the world)
  • Passage through Ganish bridge & ancient rock carvings
  • Stop at well known Attabad lake
  • Travel through newly constructed Pak-China friendship tunnels
  • Passage through Hussany glacier, view of Passu Catheral/Cones(above 6000) and Shispar peak
  • Pass through Passu peak and Batura (world’s 4th largest glacier) view points
  • Enter Khunjerab National Park in Deh
  • Spot marmots
  • Reach Pak-China border and get stunned by the natural environment and witness snow in summers on a lucky day
  • Meet Chinese people(soldiers/border police/tourists from the other side)
  • Eat packed/picnic lunch on Pak-China Border (4733m)
  • Shopping time on return in Sost (Immigration/Customs point) for Chinese goods (electronics, watches etc)
  • Free relaxation time or shopping time around Karimabad
  • Visit to Hunza De Café – famous for walnut cake (optional)
  • Night stay in Karimabad, Hunza

Day 3

  • Visit Nagar district
  • Drive to Hoper glacier view point
  • Free relaxation time or shopping time around Karimabad
  • Visit to Hunza De Café – famous for walnut cake (optional)
  • Night stay in Karimabad, Hunza

Day 4

  • Departure for Fairy Meadows
  • Drive to Raikot (3hrs)
  • View of ancient Silk Route
  • Jeep ride to Tatu (50mins)
  • Hike to Fairy Meadows (2-3 hrs depending on speed) along hired porters and donkeys from Tatu
  • Night Stay at Fairy Meadows (HUTS)

Day 5

  • Free day at fairy meadows
    OR
  • Trek to Nanga Parbat base camp and back to fairy meadows (6-7hrs)
  • Enjoy the walk to wilderness (13000 ft)
  • Night Stay at Fairy Meadows (HUTS)

Day 6

  • Hike back to Tatu (1-2 hrs depending on speed)
  • Jeep ride to Raikot (50mins)
  • Drive to Gilgit
  • Lunch and check-in to hotel
  • Drive to Buddha Rock Carving near Kargah stream
  • Visit of Gilgit Bazaar and NLI market
  • Drive to river view point (if time allows)
  • Night Stay at Gilgit

Day 7

  • Drop at Gilgit Airport
  • Departure for Islamabad from Gilgit airport
