Phander Valley is a beautiful valley located in the Ghizer district of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. It is a popular tourist destination, known for its lush green fields, deep blue lakes, and snow-capped mountains.
Few people enjoy the twisting road from Gilgit to Chitral; many people travel it. You should take your time driving because of the poplar-lined roads, the stunning blue lakes, and the kind Ismaili people, to name just a few attractions.
There are other settlements along the route from Shandur Pass to Gilgit, but none are as charming as Phander, a little village in the Phander Valley (pronounced “fun-der”).
